Hi. My Name is Drew

My name is Drew. I am a six year old boy who has Pseudo-Obstruction Syndrome, a total colonic immotility disorder. I have undergone multiple surgeries, and now have an iliostomy. Some time real soon I hope to have it reversed and by some miracle, maybe will not need to have one anymore.

I am a very brave little boy with a heart of gold. I have an older sister named Sam, a brother named Alex, and a younger sister named Caity. I live in Roanoke, Virginia.

I strive every day to live life to its fullest, and am grateful for all I have.

My Cousin Drew

My name is R.J. Curtin. I play quarterback for the Plantation Wildcats. The 2009 Plantation Wildcats have decided to dedicate the 2009 Football season to my cousin, Drew.

Drew has an extremely rare disease called Pseudo-Obstruction Syndrome, a total colonic immotility disorder. Drew was diagnosed with this disease when he was 3, and he is 6 now. Drew loves sports and we are hoping that one day, he will be able to participate again.

It's kids like Drew who go through struggles every day that truly deserve our recognition.

As we begin this season, I want to start off by saying that when we go to the Super Bowl this year and win it, we are going to send Drew the game ball!

I hope you will visit the blog often and share comments and photos with Drew. He would love to hear from you!
